about SAIA

The Sino Asian Institute of America is a tax exempt non-profit tertiary educational organization, which offers university and professional improvement courses in Asia and America. SAIA provides high quality training, seminars, language training and lecture / seminar courses on Asian culture, business, and social humanities, to the BA, MA, and PhD levels.

Study sites include the Inter University Institutes of Beijing, Honolulu, Kyoto (Japan), and California.

A full, four-year university program, is offered for overseas and Beijing resident students at the International University Institute of Beijing (IUIB). Degrees in Chinese language, Business Administration, and social humanities, include internships in Beijing, with field study in Tibet.

invitation

The SAIA / IUIB program invites college and graduate students to enroll for one semester, one year, or a full four year university degree program, at the Beijing Sports University (BSU), with special study trips to greater Tibet.

learning outcomes

Students can complete up to 15 credits of intensive language instruction, and 12 or more units of university or graduate level courses per semester, for the BA, MA, and PhD degrees in Business Administration, Social Humanities, Asian Religious Philosophy, Ethnography and Information Technology/TV production, for a total of 24 credits per semester.

accommodation

Resident students live in modern university accommodation, two per room, with air-conditioning/ heating, toilet/shower, TV, e-mail access and library, a wide selection of cafeteria meals, Olympic Sports and Martial Arts training, and quick access by rail and underground to downtown Beijing.
